Air City OST (MBC TV Drama)
Air City OST (MBC TV Drama)
It's been a long wait, but Choi Ji Woo finally returns to Korean television with the highly anticipated MBC drama Air City. With the Incheon International Airport as backdrop, the drama follows the work and romance of four airport personnel. Choi Ji Woo stars as Han Do Kyung, a level-headed operations chief who remains cool and calm under all circumstances - until she falls for rash government agent Kim Ji Sung played by movie star Lee Jung Jae (Typhoon), in his first drama role in nine years. Adding to her confusion are her evolving friendships with longtime friend Ha Joon (Lee Jin Wook, Someday) and airport director Myung Woo (Moon Jung Hee, Alone in Love), who happens to be Ji Sung's ex-girlfriend. Boosting the drama's draw even further is screenwriter Choi Wan Kyu, the man behind Jumong, Hur Jun, and countless other popular dramas. With such a grand cast and high-octane set-up, Air City boasts an equally crowd-pleasing line-up in its soundtrack. Dong Bang Shin Ki performs the drama's main theme "One Day Month" (Track 1), an atmospheric mid-tempo R&B number. Micky Yoo Chun takes on lead vocals for the group's other contribution, the soulful All in Vain (Track 2), which features an English refrain and second verse. Written, composed, and arranged by OST music director Ahn Ji Hong, the track is a fusion of acid jazz and hip hop, and quite different from TVXQ's previous songs. Kang Ta shows off some language skill
